How to apply

We offer both University of Surrey validated and Royal Academy of Dance validated programmes of study for which the application processes vary.

Please therefore refer to the programme specific pages to the left to ensure the correct method is followed.

1 Each programme has a limited number of places and therefore early application is recommended.

2 This is the final date for applying through the GTTR.  Places are allocated on a first come basis for this programme and it is unlikely that there will be places available up to the closing date.  You are advised to apply as early as possible and prior to the 1 December of the previous year to ensure your application is considered. 

3 The deadline for submitting video/DVD applications is 1 June.

Auditions & Interviews

International Students applying for a London-based programme who are unable to attend an audition in London may supply video and other evidence in place of an audition.

Criminal Records Disclosure

All applicants for programmes of study requiring contact with young people and vulnerable adults are required to have a Criminal Record Disclosure.
UK residents are required to consent to a Criminal Record Disclosure which will be made on their behalf to the Criminal Records Bureau by the RAD.
International residents should check with their National Administrator to ensure they request the correct Police Record check from their country.
